What is the Agent Market?

Updated October 29, 2026

The Agent Market is where you browse and use agents, models, and tools in one place.

The Market has three tabs:

  • Agents — pre-configured AI agents built for specific tasks (research, slides, coding, and more).
  • Models — the underlying language, image, video, and audio models, with pricing.
  • Tools — capabilities you can add to a chat: web search, browser automation, image generation, and more.

Where: New chat composer strip (the first row of agent cards) or Agent & Model Market in the sidebar (web and Mac).

Good to know: your saved private agents appear in the Agents tab as "Private · Yours" and are listed first. Each agent card shows a Typical task cost based on the last 30 days of real runs. Related: Find and use an agent from the Market, Browse and compare models, Find tools to add to your agent.

Start a hosted experience from an agent

For a hosted Market experience such as tradingagents, use POST /v1/threads/experiences, sky thread experience, or the MCP tool start_experience_thread. These use the same prepared agent, pinned setup and workspace as starting that experience in the Market.

sky thread experience tradingagents "Analyse the ticker and date I provide" --request-id experience-start-012345

The API body is { "experience": "tradingagents", "text": "Your task", "requestId": "experience-start-012345", "timezone": "Asia/Shanghai" }. Use a person's API key with write scope; select a workspace through the usual API or CLI workspace context. A body field cannot change that workspace. The result names playgroundId (the chat) and sessionId.

Keep the same requestId when retrying an uncertain start. If preparation is still pending, the response keeps its chat ID so you can return to it. An experience that is unavailable or switched off returns a refusal. Starting it uses the same billing as the Market. See Use the AgentSky API, Use the sky CLI and Use AgentSky as an MCP server.
