In the cloud, you pay for active compute time and model tokens. Claude Code and Codex run free on your Mac with your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.
Cloud compute costs $0 while the agent is idle or parked. Claude, GPT and DeepSeek model tokens bill at 30% off the maker's list price; other models in the rate card bill at the maker's price plus 10%. Models from the wider OpenRouter catalog bill at the cheapest provider's rate including OpenRouter's fee, plus 10%, with no discount. Tools and connectors can add per-call charges.
Connect your Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok or Muse plan to cover eligible cloud model usage. You still pay for cloud compute and tools. Models your connected plan does not serve use credits.
Local Mac runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan spend no AgentSky credits. If you sign in with a personal API key instead of the browser, local runs use AgentSky credits; the composer shows this. Syncing chats is free. When a Mac chat continues in the cloud, cloud charges apply.
Credits are added in advance and spent as you use agents. A workspace you share with teammates can have its own wallet, funded by its owners or admins, with monthly limits for each member. A teammate who continues a Mac chat pays from that wallet or their own balance, never from the Mac owner's balance. Chat receipts show the usage and cost.
