Set up a recurring task so an agent runs it on your schedule — no manual work required.
- Go to Agents, open the agent, and find Routines.
- Click + New.
- Write the task prompt — describe what the agent should do each time it runs.
- Set a schedule: daily, weekly, or enter a custom cron expression for precise timing.
- Choose the agent and model to use.
- Save the automation.
Where: on the web and on the Mac, Agents › the agent's details › Routines.
The automation runs at the scheduled time and creates a new chat. Results appear in your workspace chat list like any other chat.
Good to know: you can pause or delete an automation at any time from the same Routines section of the agent's details. Automations count toward your workspace usage. Related: What are automations?.
