What are browser logins?

Updated October 25, 2026

Browser logins save the sign-in state from websites your agent visited, so the agent can return to those sites already logged in — no re-authentication needed.

When an agent signs in to a site during your turn, the login is saved to your browser automatically. The next time you send an agent to the same site, in any workspace, it is already signed in.

Your browser is yours. You can share it with one teammate or your whole workspace, for every site or only some; see Share your browser logins.

Choosing logins for a chat

The Browser tab offers Mine, each browser a teammate shared with you, and Signed out. See Which browser a chat uses.

Where to manage logins: Manage logins in the Browser tab, or Plugins › Your browser (web and Mac). There you can sign out of a site, share your browser, and see what others shared with you.

Good to know: Signed out does not load or save logins. This applies to Hermes, Claude Code, and Codex; other agents do not save browser logins.
