Allow an agent to control a specific app

Updated October 28, 2026

The first time an agent wants to use an app on your Mac, AgentSky asks you once.

The question names the app and offers three answers: Allow (the default) lets the agent use the app for this task; Always allow lets agents use it in future tasks without asking again; Cancel refuses it.

  1. The agent asks to use an app during a chat.
  2. AgentSky shows "Allow AgentSky to use …?" — choose Allow, Always allow, or Cancel.
  3. Press Esc, or Stop in the chat, at any time to end computer use.

Where: Mac app. The question appears in front of the app window whenever the agent needs an app it has not used before.

Good to know: apps you chose Always allow for are listed in Settings › This Mac under Allowed apps, where Remove takes one away. Passwords, Keychain Access, System Settings and password managers are never available to an agent; terminals and code editors can only be looked at and clicked.
